The project manifests itself in the catalogue and is based on glossy magazines such as Vogue or Elle. The artist realised that these magazines contain many advertisements that often unnecessarily advertise products with female secondary sexual characteristics. The motto "sex sells" shows that women are often used as objects to advertise products. In many adverts, the product is shown in small print, while a woman takes up a double page.
The underlying ideal of beauty of these women is unrealistic: they are slim, wrinkle-free and flawless, heavily retouched. The artist does not resemble these models and decided to imitate these poses without make-up and unedited. Her body is shown in its natural form, including skin blemishes, wrinkles and dark circles. When recreating the photos, she makes sure that genitals and nipples are never visible, as is common in advertising.
